Reputation, the ex-Sarge, Chicago band that you’ve probably heard me talk about before just released their first ‘MP3′ for download. Check out www.reputationmusic.com for more info about the band, and join their Yahoo Group. There’s an archived post on what you need to do to download the MP3.
Elizabeth is a law student, and big into not ripping off the performers/industry with music sharing. I think it’s cool because she understands MP3s/CD copying is the right of the listener/owner — but there need to be limits, and carrots given to the users to obey those limits. It’s an interesting section of law to be studying, I think…
