Concert this Wednesday

Those in Champaign might want to check out the second UI Summer Band concert on Wednesday night, the 20th, on the quad. Concert starts at 7. I’m planning on heading to Murphy’s afterwards; you’re welcome to join us.

What’s on the program for this evening? We might like to come, if the little one is cooperative.
Some Gershwin, some Ellington. Original Suite and Italian in Algeirs. Some Sousa (of course – Illinois March this time.) I have the program in the car, but forgot to bring it in. It should be nice, if the weather cools off. Concert should last about 60 minutes.
Cool – we’ll try to make it!
Well, Mel and I didn’t make it. Mel was tired and it was a bit warm to take the little one out for an hour.
