The more I know…
General March 6th, 2006
Two short points for a Monday morning.
The more I know, the less I know I know.
This is a classic tenant of education. Education is exposure, and the more exposed you are, the better you can appreciate everything else you don’t know. It’s why freshmen are interesting people to talk to… very few are humbled enough, yet, and their knowledged based off their experiences is interesting. I was/am like that with my LIS studies — 8 months into the program, I have many different views now.
The more I know, the more I wish I didn’t know.
My courses have been talking about intellectual property and copyright and fair use. This is one of those topics that I had better notions about *before* I really researched anything about it. Now that I know more about how the real world works, I wish I could go back to my preconceived notions — I liked those better.

Hmmm, that’s odd. The UTC offset on the blog was wrong, and it hasn’t updated views after I updated it in the options. Does that mean this comment will occur before the post itself?
111:15am… Great. I’m going to need some ale if it’s my hundred-and-eleventith hour at work…
Ale…or something stronger? I don’t think ale would cut it for 211 continuous hours of work.
IP – I love that stuff!
Well sure you like it — you’re an attorney. Complicated IP issues keep you employed.
Comment bug fixed… It was appending the comment number before the time, making the last one appear to be from 43:56pm.
Later, I’ll try to fix the color scheme so it doesn’t look like a 1970’s kitchen.
are you saying there’s something wrong with the look of a 1970’s kitchen? :p
