It’s just been one of those days.

* Thunder woke the dog up this morning earlier than I’d like, but it wasn’t rainy so we were able to walk anyway.
* I finally print out a spreadsheet that’s been in my inbox since late last week, and an hour later they email out an update.
* I do some processing work on some other data that’s been online for weeks, and an hour later there’s an update.
* The back-and-forth with the print shop continues. We’ll see if the notepads get printed for next week or not. I don’t think they anticipate how long our purchasing processes are (in addition to their print lead times,) especially because…
* our admin (secretary) called in sick today and she’ll probably be out for the week, in addtion to…
* our Windows admin (guru) is out sick too the week we have a bunch of systems to image and get online for the semester, so our security guy picked up that slack…
* and I’m not sure if the crying coming from his office was from him or his infant son.
* The Exchange server’s IMAP connections decided to poop out. I can’t keep a sustained connection, and I’d try to use Outlook but…
* Windows Update is installing like a dozen security patches and it’s hanging up my machine.

I’m going home now. Maybe I’ll wake up and it will be September.
