As appealing as it sounds to hear how the Fresh Prince handles life when he’s the only person left alive in an urban jungle, I think I’m going to let this movie pass. The loss/inner struggle (with a doggie,) is interesting. However, the ‘healing the diseased’ and fear element seems too zombie-ish for my liking, so I’ll probably not watch it. I should probably watch at least I, Robot and Pursuit of Happyness first.

Everything I’ve read/heard says this is going to be a very good movie. It’s based off the book and apparently does a good job of following it. Also, it is a remake of Charlton Heston’s Omega Man and Vincent Price’s The Last Man on Earth. I think I might actually have to see this one in the theaters.

Well, the fear element in the book is vampires, so you aren’t too far off on the zombie comment!

I don’t do the undead. (And if anything happens to the dog, I’m walking out… Damn you Dances with Wolves)

I recall watching the “teaser” trailer for this movie several months ago and being very interested. Then I went to the website and saw references to the un-dead and completely lost interest. It’s a shame, because it looked like it could be great movie until that point.

Saw it last night. I really liked it, but anyone with problems with the undead or bad things happening to dogs should *not* see it. In other words, Dave would REALLY dislike this movie.
